- Nagaland is a state in the North-eastern part of India and is popular for its culture and heritage. The state is an ideal destination for all the adventure enthusiasts as one gets to indulge in activities such as trekking, rock climbing, camping and much more. Apart from that, Nagaland is famous for its drool-worthy cuisines, monasteries and is also home to lush green rain-forests that houses a vast range of medicinal plants.
Itinerary
Day 1: Guwahati - Karbi Anglong
- Umrangso Lake: A beautiful artificial reservoir surrounded by forests and hills, offering boating and picnic opportunities.
- 18-hole Natural Golf Course: A unique golfing experience amidst the tranquil surroundings.
- Jatinga: Famous for its bird migration phenomenon, offering views from the cliffs.
- Overnight stay: Umrangso hotel/home stay.
Day 2: Umrangso - Kohima
- Dimapur: Enroute stop at some small local bazaar, tea stop, etc.
- Overnight: Hotel/Homestay.
Day 3: Kohima
- Kohima: Today we start with the World War II memorial which was the last point where the Japanese force were stopped! We shall visit some other places of importance during the war! Next we shall visit state museum, local market,Cathedral etc.
- Overnight. Hotel/homestay.
Day 4: Kohima – Khezhakeno
- Overnight. Homestay/Vallegestay
Khezhakeno - Khonoma
- Breakfast at your respective homestay. We start our day with a ‘nature walk’ where we come across herbal plants, alder based cultivation, hear birds chirpings, etc. Later we shall drive to dzuleke village enroute see the majestic state animal ‘mithun’ , untouched forest, etc. Lunch at dzuleke village. Post lunch venture around the village, later drive back to Kohima.
- Overnight. Hotel/homestay.
